<p>NITLE’s mission is to advance
liberal education in the digital age. NITLE programs and services catalyze
innovation in both institutional and individual practices to enrich
undergraduate education.</p>
<p>NITLE provides professional
development programs in “digital pedagogy”; participant-centered communities of
practice; on-line information resources and peer networking; and other programs
designed for faculty, instructional technologists, and librarians.  NITLE also encourages the adoption
of efficient and mission-centered enterprise tools through a program of managed
services, selected discounts, and both peer and expert consultation.</p>
<p>In all its activities, NITLE
leverages the expertise inherent in its participant community and provides a
forum and resources to enable the strategic understanding and effective
adoption of digital technologies.</p>
